Subcommittee Chairman:

The function of the Internet Subcomittee is to assist and
advise the TC in all matters concerning the Internet. Primarily, its function is to
discover, explain, and test methods of using the Internet to further the HVAC & R
industry. The Internet is a powerful information tool, which is just beginning to be
used by ASHRAE and its members. Methods of using the Internet are just emerging. Among the
ideas being explored are virtual chapters, technology transfer, data transfer, and
publishing of ASHRAE documents.
There are no real boundaries to the scope of this subcommittee except that any concepts
must utilize the Internet. |
